Breast Augmentation

Interventions to increase breast volume, sometimes associated with the need to replace the breast in its original position, are today the most requested in our clinic.

The reasons that lead a patient to pursue an intervention of this type are several:

- Aplasia or lack of development of mammary glands, also called congenital aplasia breast.

- Poor development of the mammary gland, small breasts in relation to the rest of the chest or in relation to the width of the hips, or the patient's desire to increase breast size.

- Congenital breast asymmetry (differences between the two breasts that are presented to develop them).

- Atrophy of postpartum breast size or by thinning, which causes breast feeling empty.

- Lack of development of the lower pole of the breast, with or without hypertrophy of the nipple-areola complex, varying degrees of tubular breasts.

- Alterations in the shape of the thorax, as pectum excavatum (sunken sternum), pectus carinatum, sinking costal projection asymmetries of the ribs.

- Ptosis or drooping of the breasts, as sole cause, or associated with other causes.

- Other patients were operated on before and can go to the office for treatment of complications from them or for failing to obtain the expected result, for encapsulation breast ptosis secondary prosthetic replacement and so on.
